43. Deliverance   -  IV

 

 

G. Tools that may be of help in the deliverance ministry

 

                We can use our prayer language, i.e. the gift of tongues.

                We can use the Word of God. We should be prepared to quote such Scriptures as Jhn. 3:16, and other Scriptures to encourage the believer, and to take our stand against the demonic power.

                Anoint with oil.

                Praise God. When we praise God from our hearts, a tremendous anointing always falls upon us.

                Use authority of the Word of God to command the spirit(s).

                Know the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

                Listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling us as to how we should pray.

                We should minister God’s acceptance to a person  -  Eph.1: 6  -  …..to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

                Sometimes fasting is required.

                It is good to breathe in the Holy Spirit and breathe out the spirit of affliction.

                There must be a renouncing of sin and unbelief.

                We can call on the Name of Jesus: …..every one who calls on the Name of the Lord, shall be saved/delivered  -  Acts 2:21

                We can agree, and bind and loose the spirits: Matt.18:18,19  -  Truly I say to you: Whatever you shall bind on earth, shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth, shall have been loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, that, if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father Who is in heaven.

                We should invoke the protection of the power of the blood of  Jesus Christ.

                The person must assert his/her will. Be always aware of the necessity to ensure, that the principal demon has left. The person being delivered will know whether he/she is fully set free. If the demon(s) seek(s) to return to the person after deliverance, remind the person of James 4: 7  - Submit…..to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
